In summary, you and I agree Putin is acting immorally. We disagree on the causes of Putin's actions. I believe he is responsible for his own actions, and you believe the West (US and Europe) through their foreign policies led him to these actions. We also disagree on US intervention. I believe it is a moral obligation to prevent atrocities and you believe it would be a "disaster." Let's see if there is any common ground on intervention. What level of intervention do you support right now?

A) The US remains completely neutral - no voiced support, no economic sanctions, no UN votes against Russia, no non-military aid, no indirect military aid, no direct military aid, etc.

B) The US voices its support for Ukraine and against Russia

C) The US supports votes against Russia in the UN, etc.

D) The US supports and takes economic sanctions against Russia

E) The US sends non-military aid (food, medical supplies, etc.) to the Ukraine

F) The US sends indirect military aid to the Ukraine (weapons, munitions, military supplies)

G) The US sends direct military aid to the region - US military personnel, warships, planes, etc.

H) The US directly aids Ukraine through intelligence sharing, cyber-defense against and attacks on Russia, etc.

I) The US gets its military involved directly in the Ukraine, but not putting boots on the ground e.g., enforcing a no-fly zone, installing anti-missile defense systems in the region, flying intelligence missions / using IMINT and SIGINT, launching missiles from ships, flying drones, etc.

J) The US gets involved directly in the Ukraine putting boots on the ground there

K) Any subset or combination of B through J

Where do you stand Andrew? I'm guessing its somewhere more than A or B. Do you stop at C?
